Any bidder wishing to use a tax resale number must have a resale number on file prior to the auction.ħ. Chesapeake Auction House is required by Maryland law to charge state sales tax of 6%. There will be a 15% Buyers Premium added to the purchase price of each lot sold. Your credit card will be charged for all purchases whether removed or not…. Merchandise left after that time will be considered abandoned and may be resold without notice. Shipping is available with a shipping and handling fee. Buyers assume responsibility for any/all shipping arrangements. All items must be removed within one week of the close of the auction, unless prior arrangements have been made with the auction company.
